As an educational assessment services organisation, Edutest will collect personal information that is required for us to provide the following testing services to schools, parents and students, such as:
- online practice tests
- scholarship tests
- placement testing
- entrance testing
Edutest will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we collect, store and use is secure.
In order to provide such services, personal information may include, but is not limited to the following information:
- School year level
- Telephone number
- Email address
Edutest will not disclose your personal information to any third party other than educational institutions and authorities which you have agreed will receive your test results.However data from assessments may be used for future research and test improvement but at no time will identification of personal information be used for these purposes.
You have the right to access your personal information from Edutest, but this does not include access to test or commercially sensitive information such as: test questions or booklets; student’s answer sheets from the examination they undertook; or their individual answers to specific questions.
Parents may receive a Student Report from the school they applied to, after the scholarship/entrance testing, which provides normative results. However, parents do not have access to the raw scores from which these results were obtained.
Edutest will conduct checks of raw data to ensure that results have been accurately recorded and that the Student Report validly reflects the child’s raw scores.
