Year 9 Entry to Selective Entry High Schools 

The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) collects personal information for the purposes of assessing and
processing the student's application for enrolment into selective entry high schools.

Personal information may also be disclosed to schools or contractors to assist in processing the student's application for enrolment to
a selective entry high school.

A student or their parent / carer is able to request access to personal information that the Department holds about them and to
request that it be corrected. Please contact the Department by email at

The application form will be retained and destroyed in accordance with the Public Records Act.

An application fee of $100 is payable at the time of registration. Payment can only be made via credit card (Mastercard or Visa).

If your child is a current student in Victoria, please ensure you have their Victorian Student Number (VSN) available. This number 
should be on all prior years Victorian academic school reports or can be obtained from your child's current school.
